When 54-year-old record executive Peter Travers is involved in a violent car accident and slips into a coma, he carries with him a dark secret he's harbored for 39 years. As he lies unresponsive on life support, his subconscious mind recounts the harrowing and ethereal events of his youth that lead to his impending destiny, and he discovers that hope may only exist for the living. His wife, Margie, carries her own secret, unaware that it may be the key to Peter's survival.
